Website Renovations

This website has been basically the same since I set it up in mid-2019 to promote Paganism in Depth. So I thought I’d clean it up a bit. I re-did the main menu at the top, revised some of the pages, and changed to a new contact form that includes captcha to try to cut down on the spam bots.

I added a “where to find me” section on the About page, and I wrote a privacy policy to keep the EU happy. Basically I collect what you give me, I use it to give you access to classes and to send you class updates and the weekly newsletter. If you want to go, just unsubscribe, or let me know and I’ll adjust the lists you’re on.

And I put the blog function back on this site. I’m calling it “announcements” to minimize confusion with the Patheos blog, which is where I’m still blogging and where I intend to keep blogging for as long as I’m welcome. But I’m getting a little nervous, both from a content focus standpoint and from a business standpoint. Should something happen to Patheos Pagan, this is where you’ll find me.

I didn’t do a big flashy rebuild. I’m a writer, not a web designer. Plus I want to keep this site simple. I’m not Facebook – I stand to gain nothing just by keeping you on the site. I want you to be able to find what you’re looking for, and also to know that if you can’t find it, it’s probably not here.

I’m leaving comments off, mainly to keep from having to deal with comment spam. Plus this is intended to be a static site, not a place for interaction. Comments are still open on the Patheos blog, and you can reach me via e-mail or on social media.

Anyway, I hope you like it, or at least, I hope you find it useful.
